Hello everyone,
Thank you for showing interest in joining the Penn Badminton Club, a competitive and student-run sport club here at the University of Pennsylvania. We will be having tryouts this week on Thursday, September 17, and Friday, September 18 in Hutchinson Gym. In addition, we will be having an open play session on Tuesday, September 15. Please refer to the below schedule for more details:
Tuesday, September 15 – 5:30pm-8:00pm:
Optional open play session for anyone interested in participating in the tryouts. This is a great opportunity to shake off that rust and meet some Penn Badminton players. For those who need it, we will explain the rules of badminton and give some instructional tips where appropriate.
Thursday, September 17, 2009 – 6:00-9:00pm:
Tryouts for ALL women and ALL graduates/staff/faculty (both men and women). Please arrive on time and ready to play.
Friday, September 18, 2009 – 4:00-8:00pm:
Tryouts for ALL undergraduate men. Please arrive on time and ready to play.
We will have a few rackets to loan out during tryouts, but if you have rackets please bring them. All events will be held in Hutchinson Gym, which is located next to Franklin Field and beside the Palestra. A valid PennID is required for entry.
